I am A thirty-nine tear old male. My three year old son has been left in my care by his mother as she has a boy friend out of state, and she could not put down the drugs. I have had him in my sole care for almost seven months now. We are in the middle of a court battle right now. I was told in order for a male to win custody of my son I needed a good lawyer. I obtained one and it does not seem that we are making very good progress. I read you home page and in one area it states that your prayers are with those who have their child's best interest at heart. I truly feel that this young boy does not need the sort of things that his Mother has brought into his life. I have searched every where for help in this matter. It seems to me that if you are a male trying to gain custody it cost allot of money. I am willing to spend what ever it takes for the best interest of my son. But my income is limited, and I would like to be able to spend some of this on him. She has obtained the services of a free organization for women. And let me tell you this lady has done and said everything it takes to tear me apart. I feel very threatened and like IM going to loose my son. If she gets custody I feel certain she will leave the state. This boy is very happy hear and has an established home. I feel that he needs to see his mother but this is his home. And that has to mean something....doesn't it?... Please Help if you can.....Thank-you Worried Dad!!!
